Automotive Seating Innovation 2023

The recent Automotive Seating Innovation conference, which took place in Dusseldorf, Germany from January 24th to the 26th, saw Endutex debut their latest innovation regarding automotive seating materials: the Taiga 900.

This innovative new material is a PVC-coated fabric that is specifically designed to be more sustainable than traditional options and it’s made with bio-attributed PVC resin, which incorporates a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton yarns in its textile substrate.

Endutex’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact is evident in the Taiga 900, which is a major step forward in sustainable automotive seating since this new product significantly reduces CO2 emissions (having a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions, compared to a standard PVC-coated fabric for seating application).
