1970

Endutex foundation

Founded by José António Magalhães, Endutex began as a small company specializing in waterproofing textiles provided by its clients. This modest start laid the foundation for its evolution into a leader in the technical textiles industry.

1987

Knitting and Weaving

This milestone marked a turning point in our industrial growth, as we began our journey toward vertical integration. By establishing knitting and weaving capabilities, we gained control over the production of textile substrates, which became essential to our coating operations.

1988

Endutex Ibérica

The opening of Endutex Ibérica marked our official entry into the Spanish market, expanding our presence and strengthening our reach in the region.

1998

Endutex Brazil

As part of our international expansion, Endutex established a new textile coating facility in Três Coroas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, furthering our global presence and strengthening our foothold in the South American market.

2001

Endutex Poland

The opening of our Endutex Poland branch further expanded our European presence, reinforcing our commitment to growth in key markets.

2002

Introducing our 5-meter coating line

The installation of a new coating line capable of producing super wide technical textiles up to 5 meters marked another significant advancement in our production capabilities.

The opening of Endutex Hungary

The opening of the Endutex Hungary branch further expanded our footprint in Europe and reinforced our commitment to meeting growing market demands.

2008

Endutex CZ in the Czech Republic

Endutex strengthened its position in Europe with the opening of the Czech Republic branch, broadening our reach and delivering greater value to regional customers.

2014

Expanding into Germany

Expanding into Germany marked a key milestone in Endutex's global journey. Establishing our branch in this pivotal European market allows us to deliver tailored solutions to local industries precisely and efficiently. By integrating with Germany’s dynamic industrial landscape, we continue to build strong partnerships while maintaining our commitment to innovation and quality.

2020

Celebrating 50 Years of Endutex

Marking half a century of innovation and growth, Endutex proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary. Over these years, we have grown stronger, overcoming challenges and continuing to build a brighter future.

2022

In 2022, Endutex acquired Palete de Soluções, a Lisbon-based distribution company specializing in printing consumables. Now operating as Endutex Trading, this acquisition expands our distribution network and enhances our ability to serve customers more efficiently in the region.

Acquisition of Ultraflex Europe – Now Endutex UK

Endutex acquired Ultraflex Europe, expanding its operations into the UK. Now rebranded as Endutex UK, the acquisition strengthens our distribution network and enhances our product offerings in the digital print media market.
